Kev is recognized as the most experienced C130 pilot and instructor in Australia. He is currently engaged with CAE Australia, supporting training in the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF).
As a C130J Category B Qualified Flying Instructor (QFI), he boasts over 7,500 hours of flight experience on the legacy C130E/H and more than 2,500 hours on the C130J. Kev has been flying the C130J for the RAAF since 2000, including two operational military deployments to the Middle East in 2003 and 2009. Qualified as a QFI since 1982, Kev has continuously served for over 42 years in this role. His extensive military flying experience spans over 13,500 hours across nine different aircraft types, with more than 6,000 hours dedicated to military flying instruction.
